Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute (KPTI)
Kids and traumatic injuries are a frightening combination. But it happens every day. Falls. Car crashes. Burns. Head injuries. To prevent these types of injuries in children, and to increase the odds of survival for those who are traumatically injured, two organizations -- The Children's Hospital of Denver and Rocky Mountain Kiwanis District -- have joined in partnership to create the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute (KPTI), for injury research, prevention and outreach education.
