The Children's Hospital Kidney Center
The Kidney Center is located on the 4th floor, across from the entrance to the Outpatient Pavilion. Take the Outpatient elevators and turn left. The Kidney Center cares for children with any form of kidney disease or high blood pressure. We provide hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. The Center also handles preparation and follow-up for kidney transplants.
The Kidney Center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. On-call coverage is available for after-hours medical needs, urgent questions or concerns.
Helping Kids Heal
The large, modern hemodialysis room has bright, open views into the Boettcher Atrium and spacious, cheery waiting area. Patients and families also benefit from the dialysis patient nutrition areanearby.
