Family-Centered Care is a core value at The Children's Hospital. So it's important that we care for our patients and their families during their visit. The new hospital was designed with "home-like" features designed to keep families comfortable and well rested. One of these new family-friendly features is our centralized Family Suite. There are a total of 24 sleep rooms in the new hospital, 6 with private bathrooms in the Family Suite, and 18 others located in inpatient areas. These family suites, located on the second floor on the east side of the hospital atrium, each has a private bathroom and shower than can accommodate two adults comfortably. Families who stay in these 24/7-accessible rooms will have access to a shared kitchen, locker room, laundry facility and two living areas with TV's and Internet access.
