The main hospital entrance is one of four entrances at the new hospital, compared to our current number of 14 entrances. Patients and families will need to check in at the security desk located adjacent to the main entrance for building access. Families and visitors will receive badges documenting the duration of their stay. Reducing the number of entrances and requiring badges for visitors enhances security at Children's for the sake of its patients, families and staff.

ART Jim Buddish, local artist that works in bronze, created a family of rabbits that welcomes visitors to the main entrance of The Children's Hospital. The mere size of the rabbits and their accompanying carrot will bring delight to people of all ages.
