Locum Tenens:  Latin for “to hold one’s place”

The Children’s Hospital’s Locum Tenens Service provides coverage for pediatric practices throughout Colorado and Wyoming.  Our service has been in operation since July 1994. Our mission is to provide short-term, temporary relief for pediatricians with an emphasis on serving in small or rural practices in the region. Dr. Steven Poole is the Medical Director and founder of the Pediatric Locum Tenens Service.
