Send Secure Email Messages

The Children's Hospital provides you with a secure email messaging system, known as SAFEmail, which meets The Children's Hospital's HIPAA compliance initiatives. SAFEmail enables you to send and receive secure email messages with physicians and staff at The Children's Hospital.

How to use SAFEmail

You must use SAFEmail when you send Private or Protected Health Information (PHI) to any individual at The Children's Hospital. In order for you to use this system, you must first receive a secure message from an individual within the The Children's Hospital network. Please ask your contact at Children's to send you a secure message. Once you receive a secure message, you can reply or initiate new messages to individuals at The Children's Hospital in a secure manner. However, you must be online to perform these actions.
