Pediatric Nursing programs at The Children's Hospital are available in Inpatient Care, Ambulatory Care and Community Health Programs.

Inpatient Programs

Inpatient programs at The Children's Hospital provide quality, family-centered care to infants, children and adolescents in the Rocky Mountain region through multidisciplinary programs. As the top pediatric hospital in the Rocky Mountain region, Children’s offers a variety of intensive and specialty nursing programs. Inpatient programs at The Children's Hospital are divided into three sections:

• Intensive Care
• Critical Care
• Inpatient Opportunities, including Surgical Services

Ambulatory Programs

Ambulatory programs provide a wide range of primary and specialty care to patients from newborns through young adults. Primary care clinics provide care for healthy infants and children through preventive and health maintenance services, as well as care for those with special needs. Specialty clinics provide evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic pediatric diseases and conditions. Urgent care centers are open after normal business hours to provide urgent care across the Metro Denver area.

Community Health Programs

The Children's Hospital provides school health consultation and directs nursing services to school districts, independent/charter schools, and childcare centers. School-Based Health Centers provide primary care, health promotion, and mental health services to students of low-income families and the uninsured. KidStreet is a community-based licensed center for children dependent on life sustaining technology.
