Residency Programs
As part of our commitment to providing the finest care possible for children and their families, The Children’s Hospital offers exceptional opportunities for physicians.
Pediatric Residency Program
Our affiliation with The University of Colorado at Denver Department of Pediatrics provides a broad and truly outstanding pediatric educational experience. The Pediatric Residency Program includes clinical rotations at The Children's Hospital (consistently ranked in the Top 10 in the country), Denver Health Medical Center (a unique, comprehensive community health center), the University of Colorado Hospital and National Jewish Health.
The Children's Hospital state-of-the-art facility is adjacent to more than 600,000 square-feet of research space on the Anschutz Medical Campus. This provides a tremendous environment for our patients and your education. Your education will include exposure to a full spectrum of pediatric clinical problems in a challenging and stimulating learning environment. This includes the most common pediatric problems such as asthma and gastroenteritis as well as the most severe and unusual pediatric illnesses.
The faculty of the Department of Pediatrics are leaders in their respective fields. You will find faculty with a focus on subspecialty clinical care, primary care, research, education and advocacy. The interactions between residents and faculty are consistently rated as one of the most important and stimulating parts of our program.
Pediatric Dental Residency Program
The Children's Hospital Dental Center and the Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic are the teaching sites for The Children's Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program.
