South Surgery Center Opens in Lone Tree
New facility expands ambulatory services in south metro area
The Children’s Hospital South Surgery Center
is located at 9218 Kimmer Drive in Lone Tree.
(Denver, July 7, 2008) - The Children’s Hospital has expanded its Network of Care to include a new surgery center, which will increase ambulatory surgery services within the south metro area.
The Children’s Hospital South Surgery Center opened July 7, 2008. The new facility is designed to enhance surgery capacity and efficiency for patients, while providing the benefit of staying closer to home.
The specialties providing care at The Children’s Hospital South Surgery Center include:
- Dentistry
- Gastroenterology
- Orthopedics
- Sports Medicine
- Otolaryngology
Equipped with 16 rooms and spaces for pre- and post-operating and recovery, the new site will improve quality and convenience for patients and families.
The 10,000 square-foot facility will be fully staffed by Children’s physicians and nurses, with surgical services being offered from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Scheduling for surgical procedures at this location will continue through the main surgery scheduling office, providing ease of access and availability.
