Why choose Children’s?

Bringing your child to the Department of Urology at The Children’s Hospital ensures that you and your child will be cared for by experienced and knowledgeable medical staff who are willing to take the time to visit with you, answer your questions and provide you with the knowledge to make informed decisions.

Our surgeons have many years of experience in all aspects of pediatric urology and have a particular expertise in urological reconstruction and minimally-invasive surgery.

The urology team includes board certified pediatric urologists, certified pediatric nurse practitioners, urology residents and registered nurses. Furthermore, our partnership with the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine gives us access to state-of-the-art research and allows us to provide advanced healthcare for your child.

Our providers participate in multidisciplinary clinics in addition to our urology clinics, including the Spinal Defects Clinic and the Colorectal, Cloaca and Complex Pelvic Floor Disorder Program.

Our BEE (Bedwetting, Enuresis, Encopresis/Constipation) Program is managed by pediatric nurse practitioners who diagnose and treat children experiencing urinary accidents during the day and night, as well as recurrent urinary tract infections after potty training.

In order to make access to our urology services and care more convenient for families, we provide services at The Children’s Hospital main campus in Aurora, as well as the following Network of Care locations in the Denver metro area.
