Why You Can Trust The Children’s Hospital to Care for Your Child’s Burn or Skin Injury?

Caring for a child’s burn injury requires special skills and knowledge. All members of the Burn Team at The Children’s Hospital are specially trained and certified in caring for children, and brings his or her own expertise to caring for your child. The Burn Team supports children and their families through the entire process of treating a burn or skin injury, and understands the long-term implications as your child grows and develops. And we treat the whole family along the way, from allowing parents to be a part of their child’s dressing changes, to a social worker helping a sibling cope with a brother or sister’s injury, to a certified child life or therapeutic recreation specialist guiding your child through difficult procedures.
