Infant and Preschool Clinics
An interdisciplinary team will evaluate your child’s developmental, medical, behavioral and social concerns using historical, physical and developmental information collected prior to and during the evaluation. Team members are specialists in young infants and children, and may consist of a developmental pediatrician, psychologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech-language therapist and/or nurse practitioner.
Oral Feeding Clinic
Coordinated by Audiology, Speech Pathology and Learning Services. In this clinic we evaluate infants and young children who are having feeding difficulties , whether due to oral sensitivities, motor problems or other reasons. The interdisciplinary team includes a developmental pediatrician, clinical nurse, occupational therapist, speech therapist and registered dietician.

Staff members in the Child Development Unit work closely with a variety of departments within Children’s, including: The Children’s Hospital Laboratory; Genetic Services; Physical Therapy; Occupational Therapy; Speech-Language Therapy; Audiology, Speech Pathology and Learning Services; Nutrition; Nursing; Neurology; Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences; and Adolescent Medicine.
